Purpose. To demonstrate the diagnostic imaging methods possibilities: multispiral computed tomography (MSCT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound examination (US) in the detection of primary synovial chondromatosis of the wrist joint.

Material and methods. The article presents a clinical case of patient K., 58 years old, with complaints of pain and an increase in size of the left wrist joint. To determine the reason of the identified changes, the patient was referred to the radiology department, where a complex radiological examination was performed.
