Purpose. To form among patients with «non-tubal» ectopic pregnancy risk groups with indica-tions for uterine artery embolization (UAE); analysis of possible influence of UAE on fertility in the future. Materials and Methods. Retrospective analysis of 58 patients with «non-tubal» EP data: the group 1st (n=46) consisted of patients treated without UAE, women in the group 2nd (n=12) were treated with UAE. β-HCG levels, presence of embryo cardiac activity, color Doppler (CD) data, organ-preserving result and future fertility were compared between the groups. Results. vascularization level according CD data was significantly higher in the group 2nd (p=0,009). In group 1st hysterectomy was performed in 4 cases, in group 2nd uteri were preserved in all cases (p=0,018). Following intrauterine pregnancies in the group 1st were registered in 8 cases, in the group 2nd no pregnancies were registered (p=0,074), although the groups were not randomized according to reproductive planning. Conclusion. Presence of high vascularized chorion masses according to CD data in patients with «non-tubal» EP increases risk of UAE and allows to preserve an uterus, but the prognosis for following pregnancies is unclear and demands further investigation.
