Coracoid stress fractures are extremely rare and all reported cases are sports related. We present an unusual case of a coracoid stress injury in a 64-year-old, non-athletic female, who presented with a three-month history of increasing pain on the anterior aspect of her shoulder. MRI and CT revealed a stress fracture of the anterior subcortical aspect of the coracoid process. |
