urpose. To present a clinical case of combined anomalies of the uterus and urinary system to plan an advanced algorithm for diagnostic search in patients with developmental anomalies of the reproductive organs.
Materials and Methods. The article presents a clinical case of a 36-year-old patient with reproductive dysfunction. The authors demonstrate the capabilities of ultrasound diagnostics using 3D surface reconstruction of a unicornuated uterus with a non-functioning rudimentary horn in combination with bilateral pyelectasis and bilateral ureterocele.
The features of this anomaly and its significance in planning pregnancy, including using ART methods and further pregnancy, are presented.
Results. The ultrasound research method, including 3D surface reconstruction using an advanced search algorithm, allows the sonographer to achieve accurate diagnostic results and obtain a comprehensive assessment of the morphology of the genitourinary system, allowing him to plan the sequence of treatment measures correctly.
Discussion. Ultrasound using the 3D surface reconstruction method is a reliable method for diagnosing anomalies of the Müllerian ducts, including presence of concomitant pathology of the urinary system. Identification of developmental anomalies of the uterus and vagina should guide gynecologists to conduct an advanced diagnostic search.
Conclusion. Ultrasound using 3D reconstruction allows the sonographer to accurately diagnose uterine anomalies using three-dimensional visualization of the surface of the uterus and its cavity. When detecting abnormalities of the uterus development, it is necessary to conduct an expanded diagnostic research to plan the correct sequence of treatment measures.
