he diagnosis of complications that occur after dental treatment is currently an urgent problem due to its widespread occurrence. The purpose of this study was to provide up-to-date data on the use of multispiral and cone-beam computed tomography in the practice of an implantologist, dental surgeon and maxillofacial surgeon. The main section of the review is devoted to the analysis of modern foreign, mainly English-language, literature. The author presents his own data on the use of tomographic methods in the diagnosis of various types of surgical dental treatment complications. The following complications were presented in the article: failure of sinus lifting, damage to the mandibular nerve, peri-implantitis, alveolitis after tooth extraction, perforation of the maxillary sinus bottom.
