thorough assessment of the condition of the abdominal lymph nodes is one of the important tasks in the work of a radiologist, especially in oncological practice, since the status of regional lymph nodes is a prognostic factor and dramatically affects the management of a patient with a malignant neoplasm at different stages of combined treatment. The presented review article analyzes and describes in detail the CT anatomy and features of CT criteria for lymph node damage in order to improve the effectiveness of CT diagnostics of metastatic lesions of the lymph nodes of the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space in certain malignant diseases.
