The review analyzes the diagnostic and prognostic significance of Feature Tracking (FT) technology in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in patients with cardiac amyloidosis and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). FT-MRI allows quantitative evaluation of myocardial deformation without specialized pulse sequences, utilizing standard cine MR images. The systematic literature review covers the period from 2010 to 2025, including 16 studies with an overall sample exceeding 800 patients. Global and segmental indicators of longitudinal, circumferential, and radial myocardial strain are examined, along with their roles in differentiating amyloidosis from HCM and the impact of reduced strain indicators on disease prognosis.
