There is a review on intracardiac echocardiography application in modern electrophysiological laboratory, especially, equipment and imaging demands, possibility of usage during catheter treatment of arrhythmias.

Separate paragraphs dedicated to the possibilities of revealing intraoperative complications of the catheter treatment with the help of intracardiac echocardiography as well as to the future development of this method in arrhythmology.
